Ducklings

PE lessons with Mr Wassall on Tuesday morning are always a highlight of the week for our Ducklings. Mr Wassell's PE sessions for our pre-schoolers are based around fun themes and games designed to develop their balance, co-ordination and control. Through a series of lessons they have been visiting imaginary destinations on Jolly Olly Soccer Island, including Soc-car City, the Pirate ship, the Jungle and the Tournament...

It has been a magical Christmas term in Nursery and our little Ducklings have been very busy doing lots of lovely Christmas crafting, preparing for their very first Nativity, and posting invitations to their families. The Nursery Nativity is always a highlight of the school calender and there was hardly a dry eye in the house as our Ducklings reenacted the Christmas story in front of a packed audience of family and friends. The Ducklings put on their wellies and ventured out on their first Welly Walk of the year.  We walked to the village fireld in search of toy pictures to tick off on our toy hunt sheet.  It was very windy and on occations we had to chase them, but we found them all, it was great fun!  Any yes Mom's and Dad's it gae the children some ideas for their Santa list!
