A massive well done to our Mandarin pupils on a fantastic end of year production. With our super play directors - Mrs Brockhouse and Miss Oliver, and some amazing set design from Mrs Goodwin, our show was a huge success and enjoyed by all!
Welcome to Newton Regis Church of England Primary School

- A small friendly school community
- Excellent secondary school options. We are in catchment for The Polesworth School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted
We were thrilled with our results from the North West Primary Schools athletics events at Tamworth Stadium this week. The first event; Long Jump, was won by Year 5 Jem Sorohan and it set the tone for the day with our highest ever number of medals! Our Year 3s came out tops in Long Jump, Javelin and the Ball Throw with Luke, Sienna, Scarlet and Lucy all bringing back Gold!
On Wednesday 30th January, all pupils at Newton Regis took part in our very own 'Race For Life' for Cancer Research. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of parents, family members and friends - we managed to raise a staggering £1235.50! The children did a range of distances - some children running an impressive 15 laps of our school field - which measured 2 miles! Thank you for all of the support given to us for this amazing charity.
On Thursday 28th February, Mandarin Class went to the Staffordshire Regiment Museum as part of their WW2 topic. They got the chance to find out all about the weapons used in WW2, to explore the Anderson Shelters as well as find out more about rationing and uniforms. A great morning was had by all!
On Thursday 7th March all classes got involved with World Book Day. We held a fundraising event with a 'Stay and Play Booky Breakfast' where children came in early and shared a book with their parents. Tea and toast was available to help raise funds the World Book Day charity.
