Selected extra curricular activities such as music and swimming are available within the school timetable.

Children are supervised in the playground from 8.45am.
After school clubs 3.15pm-4.30pm The available after school clubs change over the course of the school year to provide variety and encourage a range of skills and cost £4.00 each.
Swimming For children in King Eider class, children take swimming lessons on a Friday at Atherstone swimming baths. Children are taught in small groups tailored to their level of ability, from beginners learning to swim to more experienced swimmers. Children simply need to bring swimwear and a towel into school on Friday and will be transported to the swimming bath by coach. Some older children who cannot swim the national requirement of 25m will also join the swimmers during this session. We ask that a small voluntary contribution is made by parents to help enable us to offer this valuable additional activity.
Music From Year 2 children have the option of taking music lessons on a Wednesday afternoon. Mrs Vanessa Crooke comes into school each Wednesday afternoon to teach piano, please ask at the office for more information about this.
Please contact the school office for further information, or to register your child for one or more after school clubs, or for music lessons.
