Welcome from Mrs Eley
It is a real pleasure to be the Headteacher of Newton Regis Primary School, we might be small but we are beautifully formed. Along with my hard working and vigilant staff we want to create and environment where all pupils enjoy school, have fun, feel safe and flourish. Throughout your child's journey in school we want them to be The best that they can be.
We work hard to inspire our children through our Creative Curriculum, using a fresh topic each half term to enable pupils to develop and apply their core literacy and numeracy skills through engaging theme-based lessons, activities and trips. Ofsted 2019 commented that The curriculum is vibrant. It is enriched with a wide range of first-hand, learning experiences through visits and visitors.
Our goal is to help children to develop a broad range of personal and academic skills to help them mature into confident, capable adults who are able to take on the challenges of life in the 21st Century. As well as doing this through our exciting curriculum, we also do this through our work as a church school. We teach all pupils whether of faith or not to embrace the core Christian values of wisdom, hope, dignity and community so they can live life in all its fullness. We also teach the pupils the importance of British Values and live these through our curriculum. We have an established link to Olive Primary in Birmingham, a predominately Muslim school so that our pupils have a really good understanding of growing up in a multi-cultural society.
Our church links are further developed by being a member of Birmingham Diocesan Multi Academy Trust(BDMAT). They support us in all aspects of our work and provide support if and when required to ensure that we continue to develop a good standard of education for all. I hope our website gives you a real insight into our school, and lots of useful information to help you assess whether Newton Regis is right for your child. You are very welcome to visit us to see our facilities and observe the children at work. To arrange a visit please telephone the office on 01827 830220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be happy to help with any queries and would love to meet you and your child.
